Enjoying some yummy shave ice on the North Shore.

Honolulu City Lights 2010

I thought this parody to Winter Wonderland was great, the tree was totally decked out in decorated slippers (flip flops) that the children made.

The Honolulu City of Lights puts on a good show by having a place to display wreaths and Christmas trees decorated by local schools, businesses, etc. Grandma and Grandpa Staffaroni and Jackson, Mike and I had a great time looking at all the fun creations.

Jackson playing with his Christmas toys!

Doing the doggy walk with his rain boots.

Laying down with his pillow pet and reading his Elmo book.

Drawing a picture with his new markers, I only wish they were washable :(

This is the best memory game ever! It is made by Little Tykes and there are all these little farm animals under the haystacks for you to match up. Jackson just loves it!!! Thanks Nana :)

Christmas 2010

This year we weren't able to make it to the East Coast for Christmas but we were able to have Grandma and Grandpa Staffaroni visit us for Christmas! We had a wonderful visit and holiday with them! All of us in our matching pjs!!!

Jackson is only sitting here nicely because we promised him he could open his presents.
A really cool Elmo recordable book from Pappy Coover and Grandma and Grandpa Staffaroni.

Tee Time on Christmas morning, Jackson is ready to go golfing thanks to Nana and with his new boots from Grandma Staffaroni.

I love opening presents and playing with my toys so much it took us three days to get through all of the gifts !!!!

Break.... time to make breakfast!!!

Christmas Eve choo choo train

Time for another haircut

We decided to get Jackson's hair cut before Santa came. It was time because it has been growing since August and the curls were beginning to become out of control.

Hanging out with the train table before his haircut.
We love getting his hair cut at Pigtails and Crewcuts because they really know how to handle a toddler while trying to cut their hair with scissors and a razor. Jackson did very well and sat in the car. Last time I had to hold him because he was so scared.

2010 visit to the Kapolei Santa

Jackson in his tie shirt, (Jenn's mother in law made matching outfits for all the kids) eating fruit snacks waiting in line for Santa. He wanted a turtle tattoo and put it on his arm.
Jackson and Mommy meeting Santa, he wasn't ready to just sit in Santa's lap yet.

Jackson loves helping in the kitchen

Jackson helping in the kitchen. He loves making shape sugar cookies.

Jackson and Santa

Today we went to Brooke's pool and met the island style Santa. Jackson has met Santa three times this year and he finally sat on his lap. Not sure if it was because he was dressed differently or not but when he got off his lap, Jackson said he wanted a snack.... He always wants a snack, I think he is the only kid I know that wakes up in the morning and says I want a snack. He then eats crackers and then eats breakfast with daddy. The kid eats all day long!!! In the first picture he is showing off his bag of candy which he kept telling daddy during bathtime it was yummy and then his airbrush tattoo of a choo choo.

Friends are family

I don't think Mike and I would have been in Hawaii for this long if it wasn't for our friends we have met. I still can't believe it has been almost 11 years since I first began the journey with Monica over the Pacific Ocean. Monica and I were just talking about the fact that we only thought we would be here one year, max of two years. I am sure our families didn't think we would be here this long either!!! Recently one of our friends moved back to be close to family and her business is soaring! She asked if we would model her fabulous dresses. Rachel typically only does girl clothing but has made this adorable mommy dress. Momi boutique dresses are on the cutting edge. Thank goodness I don't have a little girl or I would be broke!!! Check her out at www.momiboutique.com Here are some pics of us having a good time. I really love the picture with Lisa, our new mommy. Lisa had little Joseph on December 7 and is doing well with motherhood :) It just shows how good of friends we are. Of course we had to do the silly cheerleader pose, I still can't believe I was able to get on top. I should have been a cheerleader instead of a majorette in high school.
