Happy Anniversary to us! 7 years and counting.

In February amongst the 36 inches of snow, I pretty much told Mike I needed to go somewhere on vacation where there was crystal blue water!  For our 5th anniversary we didn't really do anything because we were packing up our house and getting ready for a move across the world.  Our 6th anniversary we were sleep deprived with twins.  So this year we decided to celebrate in style!  With all the unfortunate news of what has been going on in the cruise industry we were able to score a vacation for 7 nights to the Bahamas cheaper than flying to Florida for a weekend.  My mom was generous to watch all the kids. We drove to PA and dropped the kids off and then my brother drove us to Baltimore where we boarded the Carnival Pride.  This was actually the same ship we went on for our Honeymoon out of San Diego back in 2006.
We had a fabulous time and now can't wait till next year!  It was so nice to read, go to the casino, shop, and relax but we were definitely ready to come home and see the kids :)

First thing first is to take a nap. I was exhausted to say the least!   Photo courtesy of my loving husband.

After my nap we decided to play Bingo before dinner. Boy, we were thrilled we did because we were the lucky winners of Bingo.  You had to get it two ways.  I was able to get it across and down the G column.  The whole time we were waiting for the game to start I was being very pessimistic saying it was rigged and we were never going to win the prize.  Boy was I wrong!

Our redemption letter for two free cruises for next year!

Port Canaveral, Florida

 Nassau, Bahamas

We decided not to do any tours and walked to the beach ourselves. We had some nice frozen Miami Vices and jerk chicken.  It was wonderful!

 Freeport Bahamas

1,000's of conch shells just thrown along the road!

Mike and I went snorkeling way out past where the water is breaking.

Our dinner table, Ward on the end was always giving us helpful hints because he cruises three times a year!

Happy Birthday Jackson!

Jackson wanted to have a superhero party so I scanned pinterest and found a pattern to make 16 superhero capes.

Backyard is set for these little superheroes!

First they had to make their treat bags with superhero stickers.

Then we did some parachute beach ball activities!

Then we popped some balloons!

Then we attacked the villians.

Happy Birthday Jackson!

You are Mommy's Favorite Superhero!
