Jackson's visit with Santa
Students dancing Hula
Jackson and Santa, clearly Jackson is not happy about this.
Picture with Santa at my school last year, Jackson was much better :)
Grandpa Staffaroni took Jackson to my school on our last day. We have a program where the kids do hula and sing Christmas carols and Santa makes a visit.

Grandpa Staffaroni's visit to Hawaii
I couldn't resist putting Jackson in these antlers. He is wearing a shirt that says "That's it I am telling Grandpa!"
Jackson and Grandpa off to go to the park. Jackson loves to be pushed in the swings behind our house by the pool.
Posing in front of our house by the decorated palm tree.

Jackson's first trip to the ER
Today was a very crazy day! First I took Jackson to Old Navy because I wanted to get Jackson, Mike and I cute pajamas for Christmas. He has been teething and not liking nap time lately. I decided to take him out because he always falls asleep in the car. Next we went to celebrate Gavin and Abby's birthday. They had such adorable cakes :0)
Jackson was having a great time running around. He was walking quickly and stumbled and face planted right into the gravel sidewalk. I was right behind him but wasn't able to catch him. Blood was all over his face and at first I thought he had a nose bleed but then saw the gash. We did put some medicine on it, actually Rich and Mark bandaged him up, but it didn't look to be healing so we headed to the ER where he got dermabond and it looks pretty good now. He goes to the doctor on Monday to get his second H1N1 shot so we will have them check up on him. He did cry but he sure was a trooper.
This is Jackson in the Emergency Room when they were cleaning his head laceration. He looks so sad, he didn't cry though! What a trooper! Will post pics later on this week when we the dermabond wears off. I was so worried he would have a scar but the doctor says he shouldn't as long as he doesn't pick at the wound.

Haircut #2
I took Jackson for a haircut on Saturday. He was so funny! The stylist asked him to give her five and he gave her this snoot the whole time she cut his hair. This is the first time I have ever seen him do a snoot so I definitely took a picture :)
Good Friends and a sleepover
I watched Brooke last week Tuesday evening and Wednesday because our sitter had a great reason to take the day off! Leevi was returning from his tour in Afghanistan!!! Brooke and Jackson had a ball and so did I. The best part was at the end of the day when the two were eating their snacks on the stairs and they each took turns getting up and giving me a kiss! My heart just melted...
Girls Night Christmas Party
I am little behind in my postings :) Last Saturday we had our annual Girl's Night Christmas Party. I can't believe it has been 8 years since we started exchanging gifts and having a Secret Santa. Monica surprised me and was my Secret Santa, she did a great job and gave me a beautiful calendar of Jackson and Brooke! I was Claudia's secret santa :) She had a hunch it was me and she was right!

Brooke and Jackson kissing Papaya
Monica and I did a sleepover swap this weekend. Jackson stayed at Brooke's house on Friday night and Brooke stayed at ours on Saturday. We have found it is easier to let the kids just stay over so we don't have to wake them up in the middle of their sleep when we get home. I was able to get some good videos tonight. This one cracks me up because Brooke and Jackson seem to be ganging up on Papaya. Brooke loves animals as you can tell, she keeps kissing Papaya. Check back because I have 3 more videos to post of the evenings adventures.

Jackson's New Pasttime!
We went to the park over the weekend and Jackson loved it! He goes down the slide all by himself now! What a big boy he is becoming!

Furlough Friday Adventure
Today we went to Ko'olina to get our Christmas family photo. It was a crazy adventure but we managed to get one picture of us that will make the card and 2 of Jackson. I can't let you see them yet but they will be in the mail after Thanksgiving :) I will share with you the picture of an attempt to get 13 kids together for a photo shoot. It definitely is a lot of work and pure craziness.

Jackson pretending to read at 15 months
Hi everyone, I was busy cleaning around the house and then looked over to see Jackson reading his book. He loves to read the Dr. Seuss Hop and Pop book. He was doing it a couple of times so I was able to catch it on video. I think he moves his finger by the words because he sees Hailey at Claud's house do it when she reads to him :) Just another reason why we love sending Jackson to Auntie Claud's house for day care! Now, we need to work on reading the book right side up :)

Trick or Treat
Jackson had a great time celebrating Halloween. After we went to the first and second house, he got the hang of trick or treating. At the third house he walked up to the lady and just took the candy out of her hand and put it in his bucket! Then he turned around and left to go to the next house! I wish you all could have saw it. I was able to get a short clip of his growing pumpkin bucket. It is so heavy but he wants to do it all by himself even though it is dragging on the ground. Sorry the video is so dark.
