Melanie and Andrew Shelley's Wedding

 Pretty interesting how many of us found love and happiness on a small island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean!  We were so glad we were able to make the trip to Pennsylvania and see these two get 

married!

11 months old and round two of photos

Andrew and Emilie are 11 months old and into everything!  Crawling quickly, running over each other with their ride on toys.  Andrew is stacking items just so Emilie can knock them over!  Emilie has said her first word as "Dada" and Andrew's is "Uppy".

 For Christmas, Jackson got a new bike but with all the snow and cold weather it took us awhile to get out in the sunshine to ride it.  It still was a chilly day but Jackson is loving his new bike.  

 We wished we would have started with the balance bike but we missed that boat and had to resort to training wheels. 

Round one of getting photos for their birthday invite...

We decided this year we are going to have a luau for their birthday.  I needed to have a nice Spring day with warmer weather in order to take their photos in tropical clothing.  This was not easy and mother nature sure wasn't cooperating.

The Easter Egg Hunt that never happened...

Jackson has been very excited about Easter Egg Hunts.  We decided to go to one I had seen posted on the Trumbull Mom's facebook page.  There were about 50 other kids there ready to look for eggs.  We waited and waited and finally decided to leave.  Nobody was there and there were no eggs in sight... Turns out someone had reposted a flyer from 7 years ago when there was an egghunt.  However our town no longer sponsers egg hunts :(  

 Jackson was so excited to go look for eggs with his rabbit hat.  

Spring Pictures

My mom picked up these adorable outfits for the twins. I was hoping to be able to take these photos outdoors.  Ha, what was I thinking we live in Connecticut where Spring won't be here till June this year!  One thing that is wonderful about our town is the moms have a Trumbull TagSale Facebook page which is so much safer than craigslist.  I have been able to score some pretty cool items for the house and the kids.  This prop was so cute I couldn't resist.  It is for American Girl dolls but I thought we could use it first for photos.

 Like I said it is so hard to get both of them to smile at the same time.  They totally take turns or look at me with blank stares!

10 months old and into everything!

 It has been so much fun having twins. They play with each other and get into trouble together. Emilie's latest thing is sticking her tongue out and making car noises.  Andrew loves to push his walker and makes the cutest smile while he is doing it.  He is so proud of himself.  I think he will be walking by his first birthday. 

It is insane trying to get a picture with them both smiling and staying in the same place!  

Skylar came to visit

 Sky came to hang out for a day and we decided to color Easter eggs.  

They did a great job and no mess!  

It is so nice that we can have family close to us!

Teething time

We have entered major teething mode now where something is always in their mouth. 

They both have bottom teeth. 

Andrew and Emilie are constantly climbing, kicking, and hitting each other and I never hear a peep.  They trade bottles and steal toys and no crying. I read that they have a higher tolerance with their twin sibling because it has been like this since they were in the womb.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

 I just love getting the twins all dressed up for special holidays or occasions.  Today we went to the library for a playdate and I decided to dress them in their green attire. 

 I have been working on trying to get some fun props in the picture when we do photoshoots!

Winter is still here!

We haven't been doing too much around here because it is still winter weather.  Today we decided to venture out in our adorable jackets made by my Aunt Sheila's sister.  Jackson's school is having a fundraiser called "A Big Night Out"  where there are tons of silent auctions, raffles, and vendors.  I am in charge of collecting tickets, and selling tickets at his school.
