Bear with me because I am learning how to load videos on our blog. Here is a video of Jackson at 7 months.

Jackson is crawling!

Mike told me he saw Jackson crawl this past weekend but I didn't believe it or was in denial since I didn't see it. Today Jackson showed me his army crawl and mommy and daddy are baby proofing the house before he realizes he can really move!!!

Another Manic Monday!!

Monday is always a busy day for us. Getting back into the swing of things and making sure everything is packed! I usually leave the house with plenty of bags. 1. Jackson's diaper bag, 2. My lunch bag, 3. The breastpump bag, 4. My school bag, 5. My purse and I can't forget my breakfast bar and a bottle of water. I totally feel like a bag lady!!! Here are some pics of Jackson's new toy from Grandma Staffaroni. He loves it as you can see.

A busy Sunday!

Congratulations

Let me just say that today was a busy day!  We have been looking forward to today for the past month.  Mike was being recognized for being Economics Teacher of the Year today from the Department of Education.  We were off to have lunch at the Hilton Hawaiian Village and spend the day together as a family.  Let's just say we didn't let the gas truck that spilled 2500 gallons of gas on the freeway get in our way.  Those of you who have been to our house will understand when I say it took 40 minutes for us to get to the Chili's in Kapolei from our house!!! Traffic, Traffic, Traffic-- a 40 minute trip took over 2 hours.  However, we still made it to the lunch 90 minutes late and Mike received his award.  Here are some pictures of him with a former student he had in 8th and 10th grade who is on the Board of Education.  The other picture is Mike with Pat Hamamoto, our superintendent.  

A Day in Waikiki

Here are some pictures to capture our day in Waikiki.  Jackson wearing his first lei.  We showed Jackson where mommy and daddy got married at the Hyatt  and hanging out with the penguins at the Hilton.

Can you believe it? Jackson is 7 months old today!

Time is flying by very fast!  Mike and I have been very busy with work, remodeling the rental property, and everything else.  

We can 't believe little Jackson is 7 months old, he weighs in at 18 pounds and 26 inches long.  He is just a happy little guy and growing like a weed.  Jackson has finally started eating baby food and "mum mums."  He hums when he eats, evidently his great grandpa Mario used to do this as well :)

President's Day

Today Jackson and I went to Ko'olina to hang out at the pool with some good friends.  We had a relaxing day and of course Jackson loved the water.  Here is Jackson sporting his All American boy outfit in honor of President's Day!  "YES WE CAN"

I have to remind myself of that especially since last night he went to bed at 7:30 but then was ready to get his day started at 3:30!  We haven't had a night like that for awhile but sometimes he likes to make sure mom and dad know who is boss!!!  Even with only limited sleep he is still such a happy baby!!

I decided to take a picture of Jackson in his cute "Hoopers" Crabhouse onesie.  Of course his girlfriend, Brooke, has a pink one too.  Those of you who love Ocean City, Maryland know what I mean.  This is the closest I can get to them :)

This past Saturday, Jackson and I went to Brooke and Monica's pool to go swimming.  Mike has been working on our rental unit every weekend.  (Right before Christmas it flooded and we needed to completely remodel the whole property.) Therefore, Jackson and I try to stay busy so we don't miss daddy.  Jackson loves the water, grass and of course his friends-Makaela, Brooke, and Gavin.

Super Claudia!!

We are very fortunate to have a wonderful child care provider.  She has been our friend for a couple years and also taught with Mike at the middle school.  Claudia is awesome and makes having kids look like a walk in the park.  Here she is with all the kids taking Leila for a walk.  Hailey is almost 3 years old.  Kailee is 4 months in the carrier.  Brooke is on top of the stroller and is 7 months and Jackson is on the bottom at 6 months.

The new year has brought teeth for Jackson!  He has his two bottom teeth and here is the best pictures to capture the moment.

Our First Christmas

We went home this Christmas to PA and CT and had a wonderful time.  Here is a great Santa picture with Jackson at my mom's house in Pennsylvania.  

Our first blog!

I finally did it!  We finally have a blog to let you know what we are doing.  I will try my best to update you weekly of our adventures.  This is Jackson's first time in the pool at our house.  He just loved it!!!
