Jackson coloring

This is a cute video of Jackson coloring. I think it is so cute that he holds his crayon like a pencil.

A Trip to the Zoo

Daddy holding me like I am a monkey!

Turtles behind Jackson, look at his tongue..

Jackson loved playing with this toy at the zoo because it made all types of sound from the notes he would hit.  Note to those of you who need gift ideas, Jackson does not have any music toys, like cymbals, drums, xylophone, etc...

Too tired to eat

We have finally come to Jackson allowing himself to fall asleep anywhere.  He has been falling asleep lately in his high chair right after lunch.

Lately, Jackson loves to read the newspaper when he sees Mike or I read it. Look he is already starting to notice that it needs to be right side up.

One of the gifts Jackson received for Christmas was a doctor's kit. Mike and I were eating and then looked over to see what Jackson was doing and saw this. He kept putting it on his head and putting his hands out like he was saying "ta da". Now all he needs is a white doctor's jacket to complete his kit.

Go Giants

As you all know, Mike is a loyal New York Giants fan. It was pretty ironic at Christmas because my mom and his mom both bought him a NYG lunch bag. I was thrilled because now he has plenty of lunch bags for school. Mike sometimes forgets to bring his lunch bag home everyday so now we have enough for the week :)

My Apologies to my loyal blog watchers!

I think it has been over 2 weeks since I made my last blog entry. My computer has been on the fritz and Mike and I had to retire my computer :( Now, I am using his computer, he has transferred all the data from my computer to it and deserves many thanks. Especially since he is using my old mac desktop. Thank you, Thank you, I really am so thankful for him and his time, otherwise we would have had to dish out over 1500 dollars and with the furloughs, a computer purchase isn't in the budget. Be ready for a blogging purge the next couple of days :)

Happy New Year, It's 2010!

Jackson, Makaela, Gavin, Hailey, Kailee, Abby, Riley, and Colin hanging out New Year's Eve.Getting ready for the new year to begin.Jackson stayed up till 12:05. He crashed as soon as we went outside to see the fireworks. Even though it was loud and crazy he was sound asleep. In Hawaii, fireworks are a huge deal. Locals will set fireworks off the whole month of December. On New Years Eve, fireworks were going off till 3 am. If only they could put the money they spend on fireworks, I am sure that would cover many furlough teaching days :)
