Another day at Day Care

Jackson loved playing with this toy. Claudia actually said that he was putting the shapes in the top and when she gave him a larger toy, Jackson looked at it and then looked at the whole and put it down and grabbed a different toy that would fit into the hole. Can a nine month really know this or was it a fluke :) Look at his tongue, he has been doing this all last week. It is like he just discovered he has a tongue.

I am into everything as you can see.

Jackson took his first steps with a walker today!

I think he will be walking by the time we go to the East Coast in June.

Jackson does this every single day at Day Care. He loves to pull all the books out of the shelf. He also likes to try to put things back on the shelf.

Today was a great beach day. Jackson and I were swimming and only in waist high water when a turtle came up to us. It was amazing!!

I am 9 months old today!

Jackson is 9 months old today. He can crawl and pull himself up to a standing position. He has started to eat some solid foods such as bananas and peas. Jackson has also been teething. He now has the two upper front teeth. Watch out because he has learned to bite with them. Ouch!! He is babbling up a storm and now definitely we can hear ma ma and da da.

I like to stand up now

Jackson has learned the past week to pull himself up to a standing position. However, he is hesitant on how to get down from that position...

Brrr... We had to put on a winter hat to go walking this evening...

I usually go for a walk with the girls at least 3 times a day. We look kind of funny because it is 3 or 4 strollers being pushed up this large Makakilo hill. We are very determined and walk the 2 steep hills every week. Today, was our day off but Mike and I have found out this ruins Jackson's evening. He needs that walk, I guess it is pretty scenery and downtime from being in a house with 4 kids during the day. Sooo, our walk was later at 6 pm and we needed to bundle him up. This is the coldest winter weather that I have encountered in my 9 years of living in Hawaii! The stroller actually said 59 degrees :) I know that isn't cold for the east coast but it is here for sunny Hawaii :)

We went over to a friend's house and they had a bunny that entertained Jackson. He just loves animals.

Beach Day!!!

Jackson and I went to the beach with Tara and Kylee (Girls that I watch and take home from school). It was a great day and Jackson had so much fun. The last picture is him ready for a nap but he just does not want to miss out on anything.

Daddy Day Care!

On Thursday, Mike took off to watch the two little munchkins, Brooke and Jackson.  Brooke is one month older than Jackson and gave Mike a run for his money!

Jackson usually has a snack everyday around 3. It is a mum mum, much better than the gerber biscuits. It isn't really messy and he can eat it all on his own.

Diapers, Diapers, Diapers

You are probably wondering what this is... Well, Mike and I decided to stock up on diapers because I found an amazing coupon on coupons.com---save $5.00 off one package of Huggies.I waited till they ran the $9.99 special and we got diapers for $5.00.  This is a steal out here in Hawaii.  Of course I printed like 20 of them out. I think we ended up buying 23 packages of diapers in sizes 3,4, and 5. Jackson's closet is overflowing with diapers and clothes.

Jackson's new toy

Jackson received some Easter money from his aunt so we went out and bought this new toy for him to play with. It is a toy walker. Here is a video of me trying to get him to play with it but as you can see he was more interested in his mommy or mum mum as he calls me.

First Pictures at the Studio

I have been meaning to go get Jackson's pictures taken at a studio when he was born, then I said 3 months, then 6 months...  Well we finally did it at 8.5 months and here he is.  The picture is great and I couldn't resist putting it on the blog.  I took it with our camera because our scanner is broken.  This is his Easter outfit and he looks so grown up!

When Jackson is quiet, he is up to something...

Mike and I have realized that if we don't hear Jackson he is up to something that we don't want him to be doing. This is usually eating paper or playing with the remote, cell phone, etc. Here are some pictures of Jackson attacking my lei. It was in a high spot but he managed to weasel it down from the spot and eat it. Yes, he does cry and here is his face after I took it away.

Jackson had his first bites of real food today. He seems to be a fan of banana :) However, he had some trouble picking it up because the banana kept sliding all around the tray.
