Monica and I did a sleepover swap this weekend. Jackson stayed at Brooke's house on Friday night and Brooke stayed at ours on Saturday. We have found it is easier to let the kids just stay over so we don't have to wake them up in the middle of their sleep when we get home. I was able to get some good videos tonight. This one cracks me up because Brooke and Jackson seem to be ganging up on Papaya. Brooke loves animals as you can tell, she keeps kissing Papaya. Check back because I have 3 more videos to post of the evenings adventures.

We went to the park over the weekend and Jackson loved it! He goes down the slide all by himself now! What a big boy he is becoming!

Furlough Friday Adventure

Today we went to Ko'olina to get our Christmas family photo. It was a crazy adventure but we managed to get one picture of us that will make the card and 2 of Jackson. I can't let you see them yet but they will be in the mail after Thanksgiving :) I will share with you the picture of an attempt to get 13 kids together for a photo shoot. It definitely is a lot of work and pure craziness.

Hi everyone, I was busy cleaning around the house and then looked over to see Jackson reading his book. He loves to read the Dr. Seuss Hop and Pop book. He was doing it a couple of times so I was able to catch it on video. I think he moves his finger by the words because he sees Hailey at Claud's house do it when she reads to him :) Just another reason why we love sending Jackson to Auntie Claud's house for day care! Now, we need to work on reading the book right side up :)

Stickers

The past couple of weeks, Jackson has begun to explore our house. He loves to get into my cabinet that has stickers, crayons, pencils, and pens! We did have a child proof lock on it but the little munchkin has learned how to take it off! This is what happens when Jackson is too quiet.

Blueberries

Jackson loves blueberries. We are so lucky that Claudia makes sure the kids have well balanced meals and snacks. Here is a cute picture after eating blueberries :)

Trick or Treat

Jackson had a great time celebrating Halloween. After we went to the first and second house, he got the hang of trick or treating. At the third house he walked up to the lady and just took the candy out of her hand and put it in his bucket! Then he turned around and left to go to the next house! I wish you all could have saw it. I was able to get a short clip of his growing pumpkin bucket. It is so heavy but he wants to do it all by himself even though it is dragging on the ground. Sorry the video is so dark.

Yummy Corn on the Cobb!!

It is a rare treat for us when we find a really good ear of corn for a good price. These ears of corn are from Aloun farms that we picked on Sunday. I just love corn on the cobb and from this video you can see Jackson does too! If you look closely you can see that he has rice all over him too. In Hawaii the rice cooker makes sticky rice and Jackson likes to put it all over him while he eats some as well. He just had a ball eating this ear of corn and seems to let us know that it is um um good :)

Pumpkin Patch Extravaganza

Monica and I went to the Aloun Farms Pumpkin Patch on Sunday. It was a crazy adventure with two toddlers! We ran into Abby and Gavin and tried to get a picture :), we picked pumpkins, corn and had a wonderful time pulling the kids in the wagon.

Bellows Beach

All of Our friends went camping over break but I decided not to go because Mike had a workshop during the days. I honestly didn't feel like lugging everything to go camping for Jackson and myself. Neither did Claudia so Claudia and I and the kids went up one day and saw everyone. However, looking at the pictures you would have thought it was just Jackson and I because there aren't any kids in the pictures. Jackson didn't nap on the 45 minute drive so he ended up being crabby and just wanted to be by himself as you can see in the pics. It was a gorgeous day in Hawaii. A great idea to bring a pool to the beach!

Jackson just loved the zoo! His favorite place was the fish. He is absolutely infatuated with fish. He points at them and I think he is actually saying fishy. I guess we know what we will be getting him for Christmas! Seems only fitting since his room is made up of fish as well :)

On Sunday we took Jackson to the waterpark in Hawaii.  He had a good time and is ready for our return to the park on Thursday.

How many kids does it take to fill a pool?

We were celebrating our friends 30th birthday and the kids decided to have some fun in the pool.  Nobody got hurt which is amazing with the amount of children that we put in the pool :)

Labor Day Weekend
