PEZ Factory

The PEZ factory is 15 minutes from our house in Orange, Connecticut. It is a 9,000 square foot trap with all the PEZ dispensers you can imagine!  You pay $5.00 to get in but receive a pretty cool lanyard and a $2.00 credit to buy one of the many souvenirs!!! So we decided to take Skylar and Jackson to the land of sugar!

Family Visit

Mike went to Boston for a week for an Economics conference.  I recruited my Aunt Darlene from Tennesee, Great Grandma Defenderfer, Nana and Skylar to help out with the babies and Jackson!

Happy 4th Birthday Jackson!

 Due to the peanut allergy restriction at school, Jackson celebrated with Luigi's Italian Ice cups!  They were delicious considering it was a very hot day!

Kids' Rooms

Just thought I would post the twins' room and Jackson's.

 The house was just recently painted so we decided not to repaint.  

 Jackson's room is, of course, train theme. 

We found these train pictures from his great grandma on Mike's side and then I found the Oahu railroad route that I framed. I think my favorite is the United States rug I found at Kohl's. It was perfect to help him understand why his friends can't visit us. Where Nana lives, where daddy had a conference, etc. Little does he know he is learning geography!  

Jackson

 Jackson loves the ipad and enjoys playing letter and number games as well as watching the vintage Disney cartoons.  Old time Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, etc.

 He loves spending time in the playroom and being a chef.
