Jackson is saying 3 word phrases now at 22 months

Jackson now is saying three word phrases, I want that, I want this, That is mine... and it goes on and on. My computer went on the fritz and now has trouble turning on. Therefore we don't use it. However, we have found a use for it... Jackson loves to watch videos of Brooke on it! Mike was making dinner and I came home to find Jackson addicted to the computer to the point that in the morning, he woke up and said "I want Brooke". He walked down the stairs and went straight to the computer and watched Brooke for about 20 minutes. Brooke has been gone to the mainland for the past two weeks and I guess you could say Jackson is going through Brooke withdrawl... This picture was taken the day before Brooke left for the mainland and we had Brooke over so Monica could pack for the trip.

We have been going to the beach a lot because Jackson loves it! This is Bellows Beach on the windward side of the island.

Today we took a group photo of our friends, I think there are 46 of us in this picture. It is hard to believe I have lived here for 10 years and only knew one person and now I have a family of 46 :) We are sad to have The Stampfers to New York, MacDonalds to Germany, Melanie to Pennsylvania, and Kristen and Chris to the Big Island. However we are not saying goodbye but celebrating the future!! I just love this picture!!! Rich, Lisa's husband brought his camera and tripod and was able to get a wonderful picture!!! Jackson was upset because we had to take him away from the portuguese horseshoes :)

Well, trying to get a picture with a toddler is quite a chore. As you can see Jackson wasn't having any part of it. We weren't able to get a perfect. Jackson was too interested in playing with the portuguese horseshoes.

An alternative use for the potty

Jackson has been going on the potty at certain times, for example when he first wakes up and when he takes a bath. However, lately he has decided to use it as a step stool.

What are you doing?

Every week Claudia sends us pictures of the kids and their adventures. We are really going to miss her when she leaves May 31. Here is Jackson hopefully pretending to be a super hero. Who knows what he is doing, but I do know he is having loads of fun!
