Jackson, Makaela, Gavin, Hailey, Kailee, Abby, Riley, and Colin hanging out New Year's Eve.

Getting ready for the new year to begin.

Jackson stayed up till 12:05. He crashed as soon as we went outside to see the fireworks. Even though it was loud and crazy he was sound asleep. In Hawaii, fireworks are a huge deal. Locals will set fireworks off the whole month of December. On New Years Eve, fireworks were going off till 3 am. If only they could put the money they spend on fireworks, I am sure that would cover many furlough teaching days :)
