We decided that we would have a Luau to celebrate Andrew and Emilie's birthday! About 30 adults and 25 kids came to the event. The weather was great and we were so happy to celebrate their first year with family and friends! Pinterest definitely made the workload more intense with all of their ideas but what else would I do with my time! I borrowed a lot of crockpots and got started on the food the night before. The kitchen was filled with 8 crockpots! The menu was Kalua Pig and Cabbage, Huli Huli Chicken, rice, macaroni salad, garden salad, pasta salad, fruit kabobs, and of course pineapple and cupcakes. Mike was in charge of the Tiki Bar!

We made sure to greet everyone with a proper Hawaiian Greeting of a hug and a lei!
We were able to get a Hula Dancer to come and dance for us and teach our guests the hula!
Happy Birthday Emilie!
